Lovely relaxing site, showers exceptionally clean, very warm and powerful.  Friendly staff, plots large enough for van, awning, car with plenty of room for sitting outside.  Clovelly Inn great food big portions we worth a visit.  Lots of wild birds singing.

 Well, this   is a hard review to write. I almost want to say shhhhhh, its a secret! Just  returned from a weekend camping with our two small children. We all loved it.   The children loved the fun fountain.....some free entertainment, thank you. The   showers and toilets are so clean and well thought out. The family bathroom is   great, enough space for me to shower both little ones and again spotlessly   clean,  as is the washing up room. The pitches are huge, plenty of room for our   family tent, vehicle, table and chairs. Lots of space for the children to play.   We were pleased not to be overloaded with lots of rules, just a few sensible   points. Probably the best campsite we have ever stayed on. We would like to say thank you once again for a great   holiday.  Your site is first class in every way and we would certainly recommend   it to anyone who would like a quiet and peaceful holiday.  The site is small,   friendly and very clean.  The pitches are very generous in size and have superb   views.  There is plenty of open space for all the children to play safely.  Your   toilets and showers are like being at home they are so clean.

Dear South Breazle,
2 years ago we came to your camp as   our 1st venture into camping. We came back again after visiting many   more. All I can say is we have used yours ever since and called it the Breazle scale.
1 to 10. 1 being no where as nice as your place to 10 being another Breazle. Outstanding as  always.
Be warned however I have found fault   the shower blocks have a pull sign to go in on the doors when it should say   push!! Gasp!!

First of all I would on behalf of myself my  family, thank both of you for your massive support is the initial storage of our  caravan, as the newest member to caravanning your support was so so   needed. Also we have just enjoyed our first weekend [Easter   weekend] with you and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!! The pitch was perfect   the shower area is first class, and your service in getting our van onto the pitch brilliant When it comes to customer service there are a lot of sites  that could learn a lot from those little special touches & help that you  gave Especially contacting the local chippy to ensure that it was open for us  on our first night, made all the difference to what turned out to be an amazing  weekend.
The weather was brilliant and I am so already looking   forward to the many  weekends and holidays we will be spending with you  all. We have already booked a week with you in August [cant wait!!!] and we are already looking for weekend availability for the rest of the season.
What took our breath away was the quiet countryside   broken only by birdsong, perfect peaceful and just what we wanted, and also the   clear unpolluted [by lighting] night sky I have never seen the constellations so   crystal clear, something that ill remember for a long long time.

Hi Louise, once again an enjoyable time at your campsite, we had peaceful   nights looking up at the beautiful stars and fun packed days, Widemouth Bay x2   which the kids loved- body boarding, especially our son who is 12 and gets bored   easy likes to be on the go...and a visit to Adrenalin Quarry near Liskeard the   UKs longest zip wire,a day out to Pelperro pretty little harbour. 2 yummy   dinners at the Clovelly Inn booked in advance! And one evening take away fish chips from the Codfather in Launceston very nice all cooked from fresh.   And then back to the campsite for a nice warm shower, very pleased with your   facilities. thanks louise and family for a wonderful stay.we have put our caravan in storage at south breazle as we dont want the hassle of towing from the midland and we are so happy we chose south breazle.the countryside is wonderful  and such a beautiful quiet site anyone wanting to stay will not be disappointed.the shower blocks are so lovely we dont have to bother with our tiny caravan shower.so many places to visit close at hand and a lovely little shop.look  forward to many more years of caravaning at this beautiful site,so helpful and nothing too much trouble for anyone.well done we are hooked.

We only stayed for a weekend break but such a lovely friendly,   quiet site the best shower block we have ever been in!!! Very clean and   spacious, the pitches are exactly the same with lots of room between pitches,   highly recommended to visit, Steve, Louise and family will give you a friendly   welcome, and very helpfull if you need any help, or have any problems.

Hi We camped at South Breazle last weekend and despite the awful weather   (!) we had a great time. Your campsite is the best one we have been to, with  the massive individually marked out pitches and the extremely large and  spotlessly clean showers and toilets. We brought our kayak with us, which we  used on Roadstar   Lake with no problems at   all. We have booked up another 3 nights at the beginning of September and look   forward to coming back hopefully with better weather this time!

Have to say, the showers are better than many 4 star hotels (stayed in many, when working on the road for  years). I would have thought i had died & gone to heaven, to a shower like yours.( John did nothing but moan every time he got back from the  showers in Cornwall.
Steve, thank you, for the wood to hold the caravan steady, when a leg gave way, when other one went a couple of days later.( the wood was god send.)  What with the jocky wheel being stolen, two front steadies & a blow out on way home. ( tracking out, so 2 new tyres) plus brake pads & discs, its been a bit painful  on the plastic. Good luck for what is left of season. I will be in contact in new year. to book for summer. Have been giving your details out, right left centre.

Hello Louise and family. We stayed for 2 weeks in July. The children had great fun in the water fountains and looking around the farm. The site is safe enough for the children to go and play by themselves, giving parents chance to have a cup of tea. The showers were hot and clean. If you had any problems they were dealt with very quickly We were so happy, relaxed and 2 children who didn't want to go home, that we are going back in 2008 for another 2 weeks.

Thankyou  Louise & Steve for an absolutely fantastic holiday. When our children were small & we only had an ordinary tent and were basically sleeping on the floor i thought it had put me off camping for life but since we have recently bought a second hand trailer tent and are now off the ground my confidence in this very popular way of holidaying has been restored completely. Your campsite was idyllic, lovely surroundings, superb top quality shower block/toilets. As our children are now almost grown up and we had ourselves to ourselves for the first time on holiday it was truly relaxing and tranquil - for all of those of you who still have young families there is light at the end of the tunnel. No, on a serious note we could see the children were having great fun in their natural surroundings, no pressure on parents to spend huge amounts of money. For all of those who haven't visited you yet, its a great site ideal for all, the first time we've been able to truly relax with no pressure around us. Lovely pub just down the road to go in the evenings for a superb meal and hospitality, would need to drive down the lane, a bit far to walk.

Hi   My family and I stayed at South Breazle this last week and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. You have fantastic( and clean) facilities, a great space for the children to play around, and is so peaceful and relaxing. In just the right area to do the tourist attractions too.

Sorry we didnt get a chance to say goodbye to you, unfortunately, we had a problem at home and had to leave a day early On a happier note, we thought our stay with you was the best we have ever had on any site.  We feel that the facilities you offer are first class, the shower block is always clean and & fresh smelling. The showers can be descibed as LUXURY, and so spacious, nice to have the space to change in comfort.The space on each pitch is wonderful, plenty of space to spread out. Nice not to feel like a battery chicken !

I came across the South Breazle website while looking for a place to spend the night on 1st March 2007, as I had business in Okehampton the next morning, and didn't fancy driving there and back from London in a day. The online booking is a definite bonus, and very simple to do, which is why I booked this site, and not some of the others. The directions in the confirmation email were perfect - and the site was well signposted and easy to find, even in the dark, despite being well off the beaten track. Each of the pitches was lit with a solar lamp, and all I had to do on arrival was hook up to the mains, and make myself comfortable for the night - who needs hotels when you have a VW camper!!
Next morning dawned frosty and bright, and what a view! The shower block and shop are well equipped, and the staff/owners friendly and helpful. Only a couple of other caravans had ventured out this early in the season, so I saw the site at probably its quietest, but I can't imagine it getting too noisy here even in August! Hard standing pitches are definitely a bonus, and if you are coming from Bratton Clovelly ignore your sat nav when it says you are there - it's another half mile down  the road!

Just wanted to send an email to say how much we enjoyed our short stay at your campsite. We stayed just 2 nights but wished so much we  could have stayed longer! I have to say that we were thoroughly impressed with the campsite and especially the toilet and shower facilities. Very well thought out! My husband said that the chemical disposal point was again very good. All in all, we had a lovely time and we thoroughly enjoyed the quietness of the site (we realise we came at the end of the peak season) and our children loved walking around by the hedges and enjoying the nature side of things....kept them quiet too!! If you ever have a Comments section on your website, we would be more than happy to say how pleased we were with the campsite.
